Hello!
I've already spoken alittle about myself already but i just want to share a little more so you know where i'm coming from.
I've always loved make up since i was a little girl, i loved watching people put it on and learning how to put it on myself and experimenting with it.
It was only when, at age 11, i became a fan of the Buffy the vampire series that i dreamt of turning my love of make up into a profession, i loved the special effects make up the most and this is were i wanted to end up. I researched colleges both in the uk and in Burbank (that was WAY too expensive!). In the end is made sense to start training as a Beauty Therapist and progress into the college's Media make up course.
I Studied Beauty Therapy at Sheffield College for 2 years and came away with NVQ 2 in Beauty aswell as training in specialized treatments, products and ear piercing. My idea to progress onto Media make up course however didn't go to plan as they changed the course length from one year to two years and my finances wouldn't allow, so i shelved the dream and have been working in an office and just dabbling and experimenting with make up in my spare time.I have worked on a few weddings and a music video although i don't have any photos of my finished models i do have a couple of me working on them....somewhere :/
So there are two reasons why i wanted to start this blog the first is that i want to seek out cheaper make up and deals mainly because everything is getting so expensive and we can't all afford to go buying Mac every week plus the make up companies see that we don't have £20 for a single eyeshadow but we still want a good product so the market now has a few brands that have realised this and provide just that, low price cosmetics that are made to a top brand standard. I also want to show what you can find some big named brands for less!
The second reason for this blog is so i can get back into make up whether it's showcasing my work, showing others how to get the most from the make up in the form of tutorials.
